Last weekend we made our first big trip as a family back to Seattle. It was an action packed weekend and we tried to visit as many of our friends as we could. Grace did great on the trip over, she even took a hand at the wheel.

Then she took a nice nap. Just as we crossed over the top of Snoqualmie ridge it started to rain and didn't stop until we crossed that way again on Sunday afternoon. But, we didn't mind it was kind of refreshing since we have had so much sun in Spokane. (Remember we did just move:)Our first stop was to Jen's former shop, Evolution Press. They have done a lot of work on the place and it looks great, we were able to catch up some and enjoyed being able to spend some time together with old coworkers. We spent a fun Friday night at our friends Jonathan and Keren. Also, Brian and Diana stopped by and it was good to see them, even if it was too brief! The next morning we had a yummy but stuffy breakfast at our favorite bakery. Then on to little Amos' first birthday....

After a fun time at Carkeek with many good friends we headed over to Phinney Ridge to see some more good friends. I went out with Sarah, Amy, Kimberlee and Jenny and Jon met up with his old coworker, Todd. Sunday we had a great time visiting our Seattle church. We were sad to leave but knew it was time to head home.
